FAQ
Answers to the common questions.
Do I need prior experience? +
No. We run a dedicated beginner class where you are introduced step by step.
What should I wear to my first class? +
Athletic clothing without zippers or buttons (shorts, t-shirt). You do not need a Gi (kimono) right away.
What does the first class look like? +
Arrive 10 minutes early, get a short intro, learn safety basics, then join the regular class — without sparring.
Where do I get a Gi? +
We recommend brands available locally. We will help you in class.
Do I train barefoot? +
Yes, on the mat. Off the mat please wear shoes — it is a hygiene rule.
What if I am nervous? +
That is normal. We take time with new students. You will be looked after from day one.
How often should I train? +
2× per week for solid progress. 3–4× if you want to push.
Are there competitions? +
Optional. We support students who want to compete, but no one has to.
Can I pause my membership? +
Yes, for holidays or injuries. Just message us.
